Organizations around the world are celebrating Halloween with dark matter events! Joins us as presenters Michael Dowding, a professor of physics, and grad student James Haiston Jr., from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, discuss dark matter: what it is and how it fits into pop culture. They did this discussion at this year's Comic Con and they're doing it again for Dark Matter Day–in costume.

A social begins at 5 p.m.; the program begins at 6 p.m.

Wear your best dark matter costume and you could win a prize!

Dark Matter Day is sponsored by Matt Klein and Century 21 Associated Realty of Deadwood.
