Is There Life In A Borehole?

As students are introduced to the microenvironments of the Sanford Underground Research Facility, through examination of one of its many boreholes, they will have an opportunity to contemplate the interactions among geology, water chemistry, biology, and human activity to ask questions about the possible existence of life nearly one mile underground.
