A free science talk presented by Sanford Underground Research Facility.
Dr. Cherry worked for eight years with Dr. Ray Davis on his Solar Neutrino Experiment at the Homestake Mine. In his presentation, he will discuss the experiment and his experiences working with Davis deep underground.
His presentation will follow the Lead-Deadwood Community Fund Chili Feed, a mixer for the Lead and Deadwood Chambers.
The Chili Feed costs $6; it runs from 5-7 p.m.
Dr. Cherry's presentation follows the Chili Feed and is free to the public.
