Implementing Three Dimensional Science Instruction

This 5-day VIRTUAL workshop will build your capacity to develop and facilitate three dimensional science learning opportunities.

**Please note that this is a synchronous virtual workshop, all times provided are in the Mountain Time Zone.**

 

This 5-day foundational workshop is designed for any teacher wishing to better understand how SEPs, CCCs and DCIs work together to deepen student learning.

During this workshop you will:

  • Reflect on the nature and dimensions of science learning,

  • Build capacity to implement three-dimensional experiences in your classroom,

  • Practice strategies that uncover student thinking, and

  • Discover opportunities to connect your classroom to the cutting-edge science

    taking place at the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF).

     

*Preference will be given to applicants that have not previously attended a SURF week-long summer workshop.
