SURF ERT completes new phase of rope rescue training

This summer, Emergency Response Team (ERT) at Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) continued ongoing rope rescue training with William Buckman from NIM Medical.

SURF ERT members were tasked to safely set up and utilize a rope system to raise, latterly move, and lower a rescue mannequin inside the Yates Crusher Room.
